Starting in 2018, TPRI – Totally Renewable Phillip Island is a successful community driven Not for Profit organisation promoting renewable energy, decarbonisation and sustainable approaches to living on Phillip Island.
In 2022, a mature and healthy decision was taken by community members, partners, and investors to review the TRPI model for two main elements. First, to assess the effectiveness of the TRPI as a valuable and impactful investment by the sponsoring organization/s. Second, to suggest areas of strength in the model and identify areas for improvement to enable other regional communities to implement a similar model
What we did
We interviewed key players in the TRPI since its commencement, and reviewed various documented elements (including annual reports, a subset of minutes, web material etc.) to evaluate the program to an agreed set of objectives.
Evaluated and reported on the TRPI model.
Provide a confidential report for partners and members including findings and any recommendations for improvements in the model and governance arrangements.
The Result
While the evaluation and report are confidential, TRPI continues to successfully implement programs to achieve their objective of a total renewable Phillip Island. More information about TRPI can be found here.
